Re: need to buy clutch full kit
We can help if you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.
If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.

Re: need to buy clutch full kit
I've removed all that additional info, I don't need anything other than the VIN. I'm awaiting confirmation from a colleague and then I'll deal with your request shortly.

Re: need to buy clutch full kit
Hi. I only deal with PSA original parts for which I've provided above which are available directly form the dealer. I can't speak for any after-market suppliers or parts unfortunately, for the very reason that they may be incorrect, faked, won't fit, poor quality etc.
You can of course use the part numbers I've supplied to locate an alternative from another supplier, but you will need to direct any queries concerning the part to them.
It's why we provide this optional service, so that people have the correct part numbers for their vehicles.

Re: need to buy clutch full kit
Not recommended.
The DMF is there for a reason - to take out the torsional stress. If you remove this you have to rely on the solid flywheel conversion kit to do the same job and I personally do not think it can resolve this 100% despite the claims, otherwise all manufacturers would be fitting them as standard.... which should tell you something. This would also reduce the vehicle manufacturing costs, so there has to be a reason why the DMF is there. All that torsional stress has to go somewhere and I'm sure it would therefore put additional strain on other components in the gearbox etc.
Like anything though, it's a personal choice if you are convinced enough by the sales pitch of the conversion kits....

This chap gives a good explanation of the problems that are not always discussed concerning solid flywheel conversions. This is the link, then click on the video (I can't embed the video directly):
