Hi

No problem, thanks for the Forum donation.

The Air Doser for your vehicle is item (7):
mimi Doser.PNG
It is part number: 0345G7 and costs £332.81 (UK Sterling) so 45,464.29 Serbian Dinar.

But at least with this part number you can search for the correct one. Be warned though, some aftermarket - non-originals may be different, so stick to a Citroen one if possible.

Thanks, then I have a good air mixer on my model :D. But I still have 2 faults (P0488 and P1498), when I drive my car and rpm goes over 3000 the Check Engine appears and my car lost power. After a few moments car is working normally. What else can be a problem, I check the air mixer but everything working ok on him.

Ok, so there was a Technical Service Bulletin issued from Citroen regarding these fault codes against your VIN:
ILLUMINATION OF THE DIAGNOSTIC WARNING LAMP WITH OR WITHOUT LOSS OF POWER - IN THE PRESENCE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FAULT CODE(S) P0488, P1498, P11AB, P11AB
Origin of Fault is the Air Mixer

Repair Details:
Check of the air mixer control.

Replacement:
  • Of the air mixer
  • Of the air mixer solenoid valve
  • Of the vacuum pipe between the air mixer and the air mixer solenoid valve
Parts Needed:
  • 1 Air mixer(Part No. depending on vehicle specification).
  • 1 Air mixer electrovalve(Part No. depending on vehicle specification).
  • 1Vacuum pipe between the solenoid valve and the air mixer (Part No. depending on vehicle specification).
Fault Code Reading

Read the fault codes:
In the presence of one or more of the following fault code(s) P0488, P1498, P11AB, P2125: Carry out the check.
If there are no fault codes present: Do not apply this document
(N.B. : The fault code(s) may be accompanied by other fault codes)

Check

Check the air mixer control rod:
  • If the control rod is uncoupled: Carry out the repair
  • If the control rod is coupled: Do not apply this document - Carry out in-depth fault finding
Repair
Replace:
  • The air mixer
  • The air mixer solenoid valve
  • The vacuum pipe between the solenoid valve and the air mixer
Erase Fault Codes
So A few things to check - the test is described above to check the Air Mixer, but don't also forget to check the electrovalve operation / vacuum circuit.

Here's the supply: (Don't forget to check the filter at (3) as these can become clogged up).
Mimi EValve.PNG
(2) Air inlet manifold with integral vacuum reserve.
(3) Breather and filter for all the control electrovalves.
"c" Outlet towards the proportional electrovalves controlling the double mixer.
"d" Pressure drop inlet for the vacuum pump.
"e" Outlet to electrovalves :
Proportional electrovalve controlling the variable resistance turbocharger
Control electrovalve for the EGR heat exchanger by-pass

Here's the electrovalves:

(4) Proportional electrovalve controlling the variable resistance turbocharger.
(5) Cold air circuit electrovalve.
(6) Hot air circuit electrovalve.
(7) Variable geometry turbocharger.

Hello everyone,

I just came across this interesting topic.

I too have a Citroen C5 2L 163BHP 2009, mine has manufacture fitted double doser, all electrics and vacuum parts work fine.

However, during a service, I too realised that the upper pipe was blocked off. This is how the care came out of manufacturing.

As of recent, the left inlet pipe, which is blocked off and by diagram is meant to intake warm air has become soft over the years from heat and oil dripping on to it.

It is now that I have notices when I start of in 1st and 2nd gear, the car whistles. I believe that it is drawing in air through the pipe’s sidewall. What is strange, is that the car feels more nifty/quicker. So I too was considering one of the following:

- To drill a hole in the upper inlet to allow mixing of the warm air.

- Or to put a mushroom air filter temporary to see its affects.

Does anyone have any advise or suggestions on either of above ideas, or has anyone got any other thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello, I drive a Peugeot 3008 2.0 hdi 150 hp, I have a problem with the throttle. In the morning, when I start the engine and the hot air pipe, the bypass is crushed, after warming up the engine is repaired. Where there may be a problem, there are no recorded errors. I'm asking for help.

Hello ar80, I am not an expert. But could you confirm the following:

Do you too have double doser, for air intake. One for hot (bypass) and one for cooled air.

If so, is the bypass also blocked at the bottom where it is branching. If so, then it could be that one of the pipes from one of the two flaps control units has come lose or worn. Hence forcing the car to use the bypass, your issue is related to incorrect air mixture I believe.
