That's the right engine mounting bracket.

I know its an engine mounting but there is a bracket that fits underneat that holds it belt tensioner. Ordering a new engine mounting doesn't have the fitting for the belt tensioner so i assume its another fitting that goes under neath the engine mounting but i dont know the name of the part

Clearly visible on this engine on e-bay: Xsara engine

Thanks, post up the VIN (which will obscure itself) and we'll look up the part. It is the engine mount, most likely not available from Citroen anymore, but we can see what else it fits so you can search breakers. Where abouts is it actually broken?

As there's only one 1.8 Petrol in the Xsara Picasso range, it should be the following, but VIN would be good to confirm please:
Xsara Picasso 18 Engine Mount.PNG
Item (9) Part: 1807J3 - ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET (Right) £119.83
Item (10) Part: 1844A7 - BUFFER £37.58
Item (11) Part: 184477 - ENGINE ELASTIC MOUNTING BRACKT (Right) £98.77
Item (20) Part: 184699 - ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET (Right) £159.79

All these are showing as currently available from Citroen as of today and include UK VAT.

Ok, confirmed - this is the correct information for your Xsara Picasso - all parts available from Citroen using the part numbers I provided above.

You've added a few more pictures since the original - are we still talking about the same thing:

These are the alternator fixings which resemble the part in the previous pictures:
Xsara Picasso 18 Alternator.PNG
Item (2) is the Alternator Bracket and has been replaced with 2 new parts:

5706K5 (bracket) + 5751E4 (Retractor Roller) - you need both
£84.66 for the bracket and £56.30 for the roller.

Presume it is the tensioner to the right in that picture? It's not at all clear, it might be bolted to the engine bracket Marc listed, or it might be bolted to the block... You are going to need to get the bracket off to have a look at it to determine whether it's repairable or not.

Although if you look here: https://www.eurocarcare.net/mountings/e ... acket.html there are 2 threded bosses at the bottom which match the positions of the bolts on the tensioner, so I think it is on this mounting bracket.
