Post by cipi »

Hello everyone,

My HPFP seems to be almost dead so now I'm looking to find an used one or to find a service that is able to repair it, can someone help me with the article code the high pressure fuel pump ? My car is a Citroen C4 from 2010, VIN is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Many thanks in advance!

There's nothing requiring that the high pressure fuel pump needs coding - it is just a replacement, along with the high pressure fuel hose (18) that must also be replaced at the same time:

Hello again,

I'm now searching for an used HPFP and they are asking me the part number which should be on my high pressure fuel pump and since I'm not sure I can remove the fuel pump by myself is there any other way I can find the part number of my HPFP ?

Thanks!

Someone should pop along soon to suggest a donation to the forum, as the forum is now charged for part numbers from PSA the donation would allow you to access part number info for 2 years. With this part number you would be ready to go.

Hi Cipi, yes we can assist you with the correct parts numbers, but do ask you to upgrade your membership. This will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years though, so great value. Details below with more info and links:

I don't think that the Citroen part number is stamped on the pump, so knowing the Citroen number may not help to identify a used pump.

Pump replacement is quite easy after removing the air intake pipes.
