Changing DS3 fuel injector
Good Afternoon,
I have to replace my fuel injector on my 2011 1.6 diesel, has anyone a guide available or any tips? I've got the airbox off and it seems relatively straight forward but don't want to make a mistake!

Re: Changing DS3 fuel injector
I'm just about to do this very job on our 2015 Peugeot 308 Blue HDi. I already have the S/H injector and am just waiting for the new clamp bolt to arrive.
If you have a look at my thread here viewtopic.php?t=64451, probably from about half-way down the second page will be relevant. Follow the link that Marc posted for a diagram of the top of the injector.
From what I can see there's nothing specific to be aware of. The clamp bolt is a stretch bolt and should be replaced. Tightening instructions are 7nM and then +85°. You're supposed to replace the supply pipe as well but I'm going to try to reuse that to start off with.

Thanks Paul, hugely appreciated.
The little green nub is my current sticking point so will try that shortly.
Also worried I have the wrong replacement for VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

That's meant to be the case for all PSA HDi engines if the pipes have been removed. I have removed & refitted literally hundreds of them & never had any issues.Paul-R wrote: 29 Jun 2020, 15:14 You're supposed to replace the supply pipe as well but I'm going to try to reuse that to start off with.

Hi Marc I’ve made a donation.
Think I need a new supply pipe anyway due to my ham fistedness.

That's the leak-off hose assembly. it's not under any great pressure. How did you manage to damage it?
Also, can you post a photo of the top of the injector like I did in my post?

Dad took the hex off beneath the injector and snapped it
These are all the photos I have - let me know and I can provide more tomorrow

A photo of the top of the injector - assuming yours is similar to mine. Something like this one on our car.

Re: Changing DS3 fuel injector
OK, that's a Siemens injector. As seen in this Ebay offering https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-PEUG ... SwZDxeOalr
I think you said you wanted the leak-off pipes but this was all I could find without a part number. I'm not about their condition though! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-MAZDA-F ... SwQKteblQW

Re: Changing DS3 fuel injector
One further thought. When I eventually change the injector in our car (the damn clamp bolts didn't arrive again today) it has to be coded in to the car. Perhaps it's the same for you?

Ok, so your injectors are Continental (formerly Siemens).
There was a replacement part number for the new ones: 9802448680 (£459.10 each) or the cheaper version, part number: 1608518380 (£364.68)
As for the Return hose:
That also has a replacement part number: 1574HX priced at £27.48.
All prices correct as of post date direct from Citroen and include VAT.

Re: Changing DS3 fuel injector
Thanks both- does anyone have a clear guide of how to remove the damn thing? All connections are off of it but the injector is not free from the engine.
