One of my lady customers had a butcher's business around Bristol, she had one of her shops in Brislington

This may get a few cogs turning. What was the problem with this:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
The secondary story here is that a few weeks ago, before lockdown, I noticed a deterioration in the AM radio signal. I found another 3 tail aerial on ebay and ordered it. I also found and bought a new head unit because the screen had begun to flicker and when both arrived I put them in the boot and the performance improved overnight. I think I posted that up at the time! Anyhow two weeks ago the AM began to deteriorate again so last week I decided to replace the antenna. When I pulled down the roof lining I discovered that the 3 tail aerial I had bought only had 1 plug the same as the car. I immediately came indoors and searched for the correct replacement. Luckily I found an original 4 tail aerial and ordered it immediately. I then went back to the car and reconnected the existing aerial while I await the replacement. Guess what.......it has been perfect since then so when the replacement 4 tail arrives I will have the dilemma of do I leave it alone as it is working or do I swap it out for the correct part which I should have fitted a year ago?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

You can see whay they called it the Alpine as it shares so many similarities with its namesake the Sunbeam Alpine - they both had 4 wheels, they both had some doors....ummmmm there must be more similarities than that ?

Bobins Mentioned the "Sunbeam Alpine" today in our whatsthisthen? In different incarnations in 2 iconic Movies it has been mentioned on the FCF.....What are the two Movies

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
Have a little paddle Mick not difficult to find although I did expect you to come up with your number 2 which is right. I think I did a post ages ago about a bit of misidentification of that one. As for your number 1 the film and the car and the location were a touch more glamourous. However saying that check with IMCDB and I wouldnt be surprised if you found a version of the alpine in your number1.
regards Neil
and it does in a major way as it turns out. So both correct.
See if you can find the glamourous one though!

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
My number one definitely had one in it. The girl that rescued Jack from his London Buddies did so in the alpine and then she was locked in the boot when it was shunted into the river!! However I have reason to believe you are looking for

Re: Find the answer in the FCF..
..and the BBC made a little Faux-pas when introducing an item on Aston Martin building a new model in South Wales, against a background of JB driving a Sunbeam Alpine in Dr No.
