I think it fits most, maybe even all, but obviously I do not know for sure. I think I have to rest my case....nothing obvious has jumped out in all our deliberations to say thats definitely "Snowy" bu I reckon we have given it our best shot until gibbo unearths some more pictures, maybe in the summer when the snow has gone :-D

Regards Neil
I'll drink to that, I think it may just have been a "look at the state of this car" photo without any worry about what car it was. So like you I am happy to put it on the back burner pending new evidence :-D

Onward to the next :sprint: he cried!!! :-D :sprint:

I'm still leaning towards it being a 100A
Snowy and 100A

I headed the way of the FII variant, which isnt that far off, because it was a bit less coke-bottle-ey and appears a bit flatter in the the panels like snowy, of course the standard 100A would fit the potential forensic lights analysis better but I have never been able to pull out a pic of the standard 100A with the upper coachline.

Anyway I like a yellow car and all the others I have posted up have been 120A FII's, this is a 100A FII. Bit rarer

I know what this is so that's a bonus. Its not Snowy! But it is another double side trim/coachline combo.

So as ever.....Whatsthisthen? I'll give a tick for the Maker/Model but a little extra for the special edition ID.

Looks like a Nissan Cherry, I had a Nissan Cherry Europe on my patch for quite q while, it was a cross between a Cherry and an Alfa Sud, cherry body and Alfa engine.

Could be a Bluebird though not too clear in the image

Not Japanese Gibbo, very much closer home for yourself.

But for the extra it is a special edition.....name obliterated in my pic, but there are autocar articles/ other such things on it which are findable. The name I would say was traditional for the company in one of its incarnations. Nearly there with the rapier James.

If it wasn't the Rapier, then it was probably the Minx.

You can see whay they called it the Alpine as it shares so many similarities with its namesake the Sunbeam Alpine - they both had 4 wheels, they both had some doors....ummmmm there must be more similarities than that ? :rofl2:

As was this our old friend the Datsun Cherry and its rear tail lights. 3rd Generation N10. Saw plenty investigating Gibbo's Snowy.
