Is that possible to do all that only from the engine room? Without lifting the car up.

Well you'll need to get to the back of the engine - but you shouldn't need to raise the car up.

I had to do the egr on the good ladies partner 1.6hdi, hers like yours, lost all power and got LOUD, turned out to have jammed closed and blown the core plug off the bottom,
Typical on modern engines that to do the job, quite a few other bits need to be removed for access, but it is doable as the car sits, a little handier on the back ache if it's on a pair of ramps too, the 2 securing bolts have a fine thread and tiny bolt head, 8mm socket I seem to remember, you can get a bolted version of the sprung clamp used to secure the metal pipes to the egr, makes it a lot easier if like me you can never get those sprung clamps back on!

Ok guys, changed the EGR valve, but now the engine has lost power and are very diffucult to start for some weird reason.
The part number on that EGR i removed was 9685640480 and I replaced it with 9672880080. Can someone please help me to get known with the differences?

And also, one of the pipes were unplugged from the fuel filter, and my father managed to crank the engine a few times. I tried to get the air from the fuel lines, but Im not sure if Im doing it right.
Pumping that pump in the engine, and then taking off that screw on the fuel filter. And repeating the same step.

The EGR has to be the same type for your engine. I'll check your VIN and I'll tell you the correct one. Also, when you do get the right one and fit it, you will need to reset the auto adaptives using Diagbox.

Edit: Right, you need part number: 1618NR - I have checked with another supplier and
9672880080 is compatible. So go into Diagbox and the repair menu and tell the system you have replaced it.

hmmm, for now I only have Deplhi diagnostic programme, Is it possible to download Diagbox for free?
And you think that after programming the new EGR, the car will behave normal?

It won’t work without the VCI hardware.

Maybe your own diagnostic tool can do it, but I can’t help you with that system, but I do know it needs to be done or you will have issues.

I’ve programmed the EGR but don’t think that is the problem.
I’ve tried to crank the engine while the fuel pipes to the filter were disconnected. Can it be caused air in the fuel lines because of that?
The fuel won’t reach even the fuel filter, I’ve tried that little pump in the engine.
