There's a thread on the Peugeot Forums website regarding changing the standard door speakers for Focal items in the Mk2 308.

https://www.comics.org/searchNew/?q=%22 ... 0DeWalt%22

Now, several caveats here:
I haven't done this for our 308.
Therefore I haven't been able to check if they're a straight fit in my X7.
This is to improve the sound quality of the standard system - I have no idea of their power handling capabilities.

Later on in the thread there's talk about the focal tweeters. Apparently the standard tweeters use a simple capacitor bypass but the Focal tweeters have a separate feed.

If you are referring to the optional Philips Hi-Fi system, then this is a multiplexed amplifier.

It takes the 4 audio outputs and converts these into 8 amplified outputs:
  • 2 front woofer outputs
  • 2 outputs for the front tweeters
  • 2 rear speaker outputs
  • 2 outputs for the bass box
The connection to the audio amplifier is by means of 3 connectors (The 3 connectors are of the SICMA 16-way type).
  • The black connector transmits the low power information and the supplies.
  • The blue connector transmits the power information to the right-hand speakers.
  • The white connector transmits the power information to the left-hand speakers.
If you need the pin out connections from the 3 Equaliser 16 block connectors let me know.

I rather suspect you're going to have to plough your own furrow here. Did the kit come with any instructions? Marc can probably tell you where the amp would sit for the standard upgrade but whether yours will physically fit is another matter. And then, because the standard upgrade integrates into the data system, you'd have to install the wiring yourself and then see if your speakers can be persuaded to fit. Or, if the speakers are too difficult to fit and the power handling capabilities are similar think about the Focal speakers providing they physically fit better of course.

Much to think about there and you may find it easier to engage the services of a professional car audio firm. Or sell it on and start again? How much did the kit cost? Have you had it fitted to another car before? Is it new?

That looks like an X7 wiring loom that has been taken out of another vehicle - that's not going to be a practical option in my opinion without dismantling half the car! It's another reason why they supply repair kits for harnesses.

There are many, many different harnesses, and they are dependent on left / right hand drive, whether a telematic unit is fitted or not and what type of head unit, services module is fitted or not, engine type, equaliser option or not, etc., etc. Also, don't forget that the wiring harnesses changed depending on the build number of the vehicle too.

There are 38 different versions of the intermediate harness alone! Fitting apart, how did you determine the correct harness part number for your car with the correct options you want to fit? Cars with telematics units like the NG4 / RNEG / RT6 already have different harnesses at factory fit than a standard model with RD4 system - and then these go into different part numbers depending on the options as I mentioned above.

Anyway, if it helps, here are the connections from the HiFi Amp:

I've moved this to the telematics section and changed the title to better reflect what it is you are asking / wanting to do.

My car original was with RT4. Now is with NG4 no service module. I fine this kit from C5X7 with HI FI System for 280£. I hope that will be easy to install. Thanks for the help and info.

Thanks for the schematics, but something is missing:
- the rear tweeters, where are the rear tweeters are connected too?
- the input in the amplifier from the head unit - from my knowledge the head unit doesn't have an output for the amplifier. So, if this is true from where I can get the signal for the amplifier?
