dpf temperature

Hi, does anyone can read dpf temperature value for dw10bted4 engine with delphi dcm3.4 ecu euro5 an a cold engine. My is always 98 degrees.

Not sure I understand the reason behind this? The exhaust gas temperature will be lower until the engine has warmed up, and that will be different for everyone depending on outside temperature, so not quite sure what you are expecting.

I'm expecting outer temperature, +/- 5°C. I have on outside temperature of -15°C overnight readings from sensor 98°C.

I'm really sorry - it's probably just me, but I really don't understand what you are asking. If you could provide a bit more information / background and be a little more specific, that might help us understand a bit better. :)

I think he's saying that even when the engine is cold (i.e. just started up) it's showing 98°C.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Exactly, on cold engine I have readings of 98°C from sensor.

There's no need to read a cold exhaust temperature so the lower limit probably starts at just under 100, hence the 98 when cold.

Mine (different engine/ecu) shows <100c from cold.

Thanks MikeT, i have small wiring damage on sensor that's why I'v asked.

On my engine, it reads 98 degrees C until the temperature rises above that. So after a drive to warm everything it reads correctly but from cold it reads 98.

It is not a fault.
