Re: dpf temperature
Not sure I understand the reason behind this? The exhaust gas temperature will be lower until the engine has warmed up, and that will be different for everyone depending on outside temperature, so not quite sure what you are expecting.

Re: dpf temperature
I'm expecting outer temperature, +/- 5°C. I have on outside temperature of -15°C overnight readings from sensor 98°C.

I'm really sorry - it's probably just me, but I really don't understand what you are asking. If you could provide a bit more information / background and be a little more specific, that might help us understand a bit better.

Re: dpf temperature
I think he's saying that even when the engine is cold (i.e. just started up) it's showing 98°C.

Re: dpf temperature
There's no need to read a cold exhaust temperature so the lower limit probably starts at just under 100, hence the 98 when cold.

Re: dpf temperature
Mine (different engine/ecu) shows <100c from cold.

Re: dpf temperature
On my engine, it reads 98 degrees C until the temperature rises above that. So after a drive to warm everything it reads correctly but from cold it reads 98.
It is not a fault.
