It will turn your four digit build code into the 'real' production date so you know when your car was 'born' in the factory :)

I have just used these guys onclick= window.open(this.href);return false; They did a great price on the turbo for my C5 1.6HDI. He told me that they keep stock of most Renault and PSA units, and when not in stock can do a next day repair service.
They are in Glasgow and seemed to know their stuff

Have found the following link to be rather useful :)

Loads of useful info on software download LEXIA DIAGBOX P2000 and loads of other car related software not only for French makes. Very helpful with installation problems. But its in French and you have to join and introduce yourself to see all of the info. If you use Google translate or freetranslation.com it makes it a little easier.

We have had an inquiry from a company wishing to advertise on the forum.
While this is not an option, the items they are selling may very well be of interest to forum members so we are taking the unusual step of linking to their web pages.
Note that we are in no way endorsing these products, merely making them available to members who would...

Hi everybody,

I remember ages ago there being a thread on if or how it was possible to connect an mp3 player to an existing 2001 C5 headunit.

I have done much research into this and have finally bought a system that actually works! All the web sites i visited didnt seem to list a Connect 2 system for C5s older than 2005.

However, the Connects 2...

Due to success of the independent BX, CX and XM (and the FCF) internet forums and our need to find new owners, Mike Harker and myself are running an independent LN, LNA, Axel, Visa and C15 internet forum. Obviously the CCC Visa forum is limited to Club members and very few of our owners use it. Whilst still continuing to contribute to the Club...

This is a very useful link showing how to disassemble a Bosch VE20 diesel pump.

It's an early non-turbo version but it still holds good for the VE20/AS3 as used on Citroen and Peugeot 1.9TD engines.

Thanks to crossy2425 for this :D Very much appreciated!

I think it's already posted on this forum but in case there's differences to this one, here's the link

Don't have subscription to service.citroen.

Just click the upper right hand box to change language to English if needed, then follow the cues to register for each - it's free. You can't run both at once, and they will email you different user codes. It's what Alan would tell you to do!

This is a useful web site for information. :)
You can check a lot of things on it including details about driving in Europe, and what to do in the event of an accident.

This can be checked by anyone on this database, but on a basic level compared to all the comprehensive information that can be seen by the employees at the MID.

Therefore you...

A very good Saxo site created by Simo (Simon) who was the first person in the UK to own a turbocharged Saxo VTS. The site has around 11,000 registered members.

The first Saxo website created which has around 20,000 members.

Unsure as to which device I needed for my 2001 Saxo, I e-mailed several suppliers.

I was advised to buy a U480 which covers a multitude of protocols and software ( OBD , OBDII and CAN-BUS amongst them). I eventually made my purchase ( ebay item: 8064623101 ) and am happy to report that it does exactly what it says on the tin and all for under £40...

Although the main page for Activanet has gone down, along with its web address, the hugely useful forum can still be found here:

A must to all Activa owners as it is slowly branching out into an informal owners club.

Also useful to any Xantia owner.

Thanks

Shameless plug for a quick and dirty site to collate various brochures I have scanned to PDF :)

This came about due to an offer I made in the Xantia Electric Toys thread in the Citroen forum:

I've also put up a copy of the rather excellent Dancing 2CV 8)

Enjoy

Alan
