C4 Fuel filter and pollen filter locations

Hello,

Can anyone please advise where the fuel and pollen filters are on a 2022 Citroen C4 1.5 BlueHdi 130? Thanks

Off hand I do not know where these are located. If you are thinking of doing your own servicing rather than using the dealer, beware that the 1.5 hdi camshaft chain can fail and if not dealer serviced you may not benefit from any goodwill from Citroen to pay for the engine repairs. This goodwill seems to extend for a few years after the 3 year warranty expires.

My understanding is that engines after 2020 are fitted with the upgraded 8mm chain

The date change to 8mm is a bit variable. If you post the VIN we can check, and advise on location of the filters.

No, that's incorrect. Only models from late 2023 have the 8mm chain fitted, but as said VIN will confirm.

As for the filters, they are located inside the heater unit. To get to this you will need to remove the lower driver's side trim and side panel of the central console at the driver's footwell:

Once you have the area visible you are looking for this panel that locks them in - unscrew it:

Then pull both filters out to the right (there are 2).

The pull then down:

The filter is contained within the housing in the engine bay similar to the one shown in this post:
