DS3 etense VIN issue

Hi,
I recently bought a DS3 etense and imported it to Australia. It turns out that I need to provide a VIN decode in order to get it recognised here and get registration. I’ve gotten most of the way but there appears to be an error with the check digit character assuming it is indeed position 9. When I run the VIN through a calculator it tells me the check digit is incorrect and should be X rather than Z.
It’d be great to know if I’m on the right track.

Thanks Marc,

From what I can see in your previous post with the VIN decode, there isn’t a check digit at all! Does that mean that the DS VINs aren’t compliant with ISO3779?
