Hi all,
Currently have 2014 C4GP 1.6 E-Hdi and having juddering when pulling away. Currently 110k on clock and have only had just over a year and had gradually got worse. Tried hard reset (foot to floor till 3rd) and not made any difference. Engine code is DV6CSTT which i can't find much information about so my question is - is this the engine that it came from factory? and not been replaced with another? and I'm unable to see gearbox code Vin is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be most grateful thanks

Most likely it needs a new clutch, it's doing very well if it got to 110k on the original!

You don't have an automatic gearbox. You have a manual gearbox and clutch, but this system is piloted, so has hydraulic actuators to do the gear and clutch changes. There is no torque converter.
So as Richard says if it starts to get a bit jerky, it likely needs a clutch and almost certainly a new dual mass flywheel, as it's sensible to do this at the same time as the clutch to save on labour. Be careful who you choose do get it done with - I would advise on getting it to a specialist who knows these systems as the gearbox and clutch have to be programmed after replacement of the clutch and not everyone has the tools / know-how to work on these properly. Otherwise a dealer will be best - will cost a little more, but they will know what they're doing.

Thankyou very much for that information. Learn something new everyday i would have never thought its a manual gearbox being labeled an "auto". Are you able to help me regarding gearbox code? so I know what parts to order for the replacement of said parts
