engine FAULT replacement needed on citroen ds4 2012[engine checklight

when l turn ON ignition this notification pop up [engine fault replacement needed] 3pop up 3 times
and dessappear leaving engine checklight on on dash board ,tried to clear it bt later on it comes back ,wat might bre the problem and how CAN L FIX IT

That can be a generic warning and I think you'll find it says REPAIR needed not 'replacement'.

The only way to get some idea is to have it diagnosed with Diagbox and provide us with the fault codes, along with the vehicle's VIN.

It was diagonosed and the inspection results are;
1.signal error transmitted by the engine management ECU over the CAN NETWORK.INCORRECT VALUE RECEIVED
ERROR CODE U1208

Ok, so you need to provide the 17 digit VIN for the vehicle usually found in the bottom left corner of the windscreen in a small cut out. It will begin with 'V'. I can then associate the fault code correctly.

This is just to help fault finding. You'll need to check all the connections to the Engine ECU and make sure there is no damaged wiring.

There is no standard 'fix' The code is there to assist with onward troubleshooting. But if you have checked all your electrical connections to the Engine ECU and the indicated warning lamps are NOT on as shown in the fault code analysis above, then you may have an issue with the engine ECU itself.

Basically the Engine ECU is not communicating or is sending incorrect data. This can often happen if the connections to the engine ECU have been removed and nor reconnected properly or there is a damaged wire. Also has the engine ECU been exposed to any water which may have gotten in. I would be checking the connections and the pins to make sure there is no corrosion or damage to the pins.
