Citroen C5 X7 missing part

Unread post by vodnasol »

Hi all,
Today I was changing my tyres and I noticed that on the FL side there was a cable with two wires hanging and possibly something else also missing/unplugged. I had hooked a lexia a couple months ago and there was an error for not received data from a TPS, but I don't remember if it was from the FL side. Could someone verify if it is a TPS receiver missing?
Thanks

I believe that, for the C5 X7, it is possible to get a replacement for that segment of the loom. Marc should be able to confirm this (I know that it is not possible for the earlier C5 models), but I don't know the part number. The wires that then connect to the brake pads should come with a new set of front pads (between the ringed connector and the pads).

Yes, I am paranoid, but am I paranoid ENOUGH?

I checked some threads and you can buy a replacement. Do you know if it gives a warning a little bit before the pads are completely worn off or when there is no more pad left, because I wouldn't bother removing the wheel again just to replace it if it just activates right at the end of the life of the pads?

The warning goes off when the pads are nearly worn - so you won't have more than a few millimetres left on the pads when it goes off. That's the time to get them changed.
