Unread post by Big Eb »

Hi,got an Xantia 2.0 Hdi 2000 estate and i'm looking to source the T connector that sits above the cross member of the rear suspension, o/s/r,think it's a 6mm 6mm 4mm conecter. anyone have any idea where i could source this bit,Not having much luck at the moment with Citroen because when they ask for reg it's on Portuguese plates.

Which part are you after. I assume its the suspension return piping you're referring to?

Does your car have Hydractive suspension? (count the rear spheres - if it has 3 rear spheres as in first diagram below it has hydractive)

If hydractive:

Image

Part 10 is part number 5280 E2; Part 11 is part number 5280 87

If non-hydractive:

Part 8 is part number 5280 E2; Part 9 is 5280 87

In both cases, probably Citroen dealer only, can't imagine any pattern part manufacturer will have attempted a copy. Probably unavailable even from dealer though, so may need fabricate your own.

Ok ,cheers buddy, did make one but started to leak again, don't suppose you have a diagram for bottom hydraulic steering hose, the one that has pipe going into thick rubber hose then back to pipe, sits under the centre sphere.

Probably easiest if you look yourself if you know what you're after. There are loads of free online sites showing manufacturer diagrams. I usually use Catcar http://www.catcar.info/citroen/?lang=en ... Y3Qw%3D%3D, but there are plenty of others.

If you want part pricing information, you can use Servicebox - the part pricing info isn't behind a paywall.
