Hi All,
When clearing some faults the above appeared as a permanent fault
P2425
Control of the bypass of the EGR exchanger
Open circuit.
Could this be the control solenoid valve ?

Re: fault code P2425
P2425 on this engine ECU is the control of the EGR Exchanger Bypass being 'open circuit' for 2 seconds Kenny.
It may disappear after 5 minutes but only when the engine is hot. The fault will cause the deactivation of the initialisation of the EGR valve.
Possible causes: Electrical harness, Connectors, EGR exchanger bypass control solenoid valve, EGR exchanger bypass, Fuse.

Re: fault code P2425
Well changed the solenoid and cleared fault.
I've noticed the car is a little bit more responsive since the change and the fault has not returned.
Hooray one thing less thing to fix but back to the the wiring to and from the suspension ecu ( another thread).
