Hi
I'm looking for the fuse that protects the rear cigarette lighter. according to the "driver's manual" supplied with the vehicle (in my case it is a C5 X7 saloon, petrol, year 2010) it says that there is a fuse box on the battery (?) on all vehicles except V6 HDi, this fuse box contains four fuses - F6 rated 25A for the rear cigarette lighter (the one that I'm looking for).
F7 rated 15A for the fog lights.
F8 rated 20A for diesel additional burner (I hope that you know what it is).
F9 rated 30A for the electric parking brake.
I'm ashamed to admit that I couldn't find anything like that.
Thanx for your help.
Avi

Re: Where are these fuses? C5 X7
Just had a look at my 2009 handbook and says the same thing. However the Revue Technique manual is much clearer. The fuses - there may be up to 9 of them - are to the right of the battery when you lift the plastic battery cover. They are in a vertically mounted plastic box and are shown in the attached manual page. (Acknowledgement to Revue Technique. ) The one you want is indeed F6. Just checked on my car - the box is red and black and will have to be pulled apart I think, to get at the fuses

Hi
Thank you both. I've seen that red/black box before I've asked, but never thought that it will be so good hidden.
