1.6 HDi Injector Bolts

Post by DHallworth »

I'm not sure where to post this as it related to both Citroen's and Peugeot's!

I'm doing some work on our 207 HDi at the moment. See my latest blog post for more of that...

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=29757&p=588938#p588938

Does anyone have the torque values for the 1.6 HDi engine...

Ideally...

Rocker cover bolt tightening sequence and torque values.
Inlet manifold torque values.
Injector studs into head.
Injector clamp bolts onto studs.

Thanks,

David.

I think I've had a little bit of luck...

The studs I think are 7NM, and the clamp bolts are 4NM + 65 degrees.

Still looking for a tightening sequence and torque figures for the rocker cover though. Chances are it'd be ok when being sensible but it's nice to have a job done properly.

6mm thread is generally 30mn, 8mm 40, it will depend on gasket type etc. Sequence, start from the middle and work out diagonally, but I'm sure you know this.

Just wondering why the norm is daNm, it's one decimal point, my torque wrenches are in Nm?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for that, that's great.

Do you have the ones for the inlet manifold?

David.

Have you not got a BOL? I was wondering whether to do without, but no, it's on the shelf.

I've not got one that covers the 1.6 HDi unfortunately.

Can you hang on until the morning? I’ve powered down LCARS for the evening, and am using this hopeless Apple iPad, of which the upgrade is causing stacks of typos! 🤬

Without going too far :offtopic: , I would still be using my iPad 2 that is still on IOS 9 if it weren’t so slow David, but this iPad Air with IOS 12 is awful.

I’ll get the other bits to you dans le morning.
