OK, can the Brit 2ltr speedo replace the KMPH Speedo or will I have to use the Brit V6 Speedo to get the correct calibration ?

Re: V6 Speedo.. KMPH - MPH
The Brit 2 litre speedo should work without fault. When my car was converted from the TCT to the V6, the speedo wasn't changed.
I wonder if the car will have a hissy fit if the mileage on the clusters is different?
David.

The distance counter on a mk1 is mechanical, so the car does not care.

Of course! I'd forgotten it was a Series 1 that Sticky is converting!
My bad!
I'd imagine that the TCT speedo will still work, however, if you're going to the hassle of stripping it out, I'd have a peek and see if you can match the mileages. Just transferring the fascia won't work I wouldn't imagine as the milometer will still be recording km spinning round but the speedo would be in mph. I'd use the TCT one if it's a Series 1 and then just try and match the mileage. Does the Series 1 Activa still have Oil and Water temperature gauges?
David.

Miles or Km recording is not a problem, all I would like is MPH showing on the needle
How would i change the millage wheels to show correct equivalent on the replaced MILE counter ?
