As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Re: Guide to Replacing the NG4 Navidrive 3D Hard Drive with a CF Card
Hello there, I started having the very same "3 min and reboot with no audio" problem after 15+ years.giggle_crunch wrote: 03 Mar 2025, 17:54 Moving on with my 3 minute uptime problem
Noticed an interesting thing today during those 3 minutes, while the system is up and running but no sound output from radio, USB or disc.
So here's the thing: not all user data survided the rebooting, in particular all sound settings are reset to defaults (fader, bass, loudnes, etc.).
Moreover, it's not possible to set any sound settings during those 3 minutes, e.g. "Mute rear speakers" or "Loudness" (which must be controlled by the amp). What's happening: trying to tick the setting "Mute rear speakers" and the tick does not persist (appears on the screen for a second and then gone). Same when trying to set "Loudness". On the other side, "Speed dependent volume" can be set or unset with no issues.
Soo, I am wondering if there's a way to bypass the amp without much hustle.
Was this exact type of malfunctioning root caused eventually?
I have replaced HDD with new one, no difference.
Firmware upgrading attempts from USB (and SD ) to 42c fails immediately to error code 0x3000.
Any idea/suggestion/advice or recommendation appreciated. Many Thanks

Cordialement,
Tonny Kieding

Hello everyone,
My hard drive crashed whilst updating to version 8.31 on my Magneti Marelli RT5 (Citroën C4, 2009). I’m going to replace the drive, but unfortunately I can’t access the old one to clone it.
If anyone has a full image of the hard drive (ISO or clone) from their own RT5 and would be willing to share it, I would be very grateful. A download link or even a burned CD/DVD would be perfect — I will, of course, cover the costs.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Tonny Kieding
