I got the Error 1015 as well. I reckon it's because whenever I refresh the Active Topics page I keep open I open tabs up of all the new posts. I can easily have 10, 15 or more open depending on how long it's been since I last refreshed the screen. I could go to the first 4 or 5 without a problem but after that the tab had the message. A simple F5 refresh gets the page I want.

So I'm obviously demanding more resources than the system thinks I should have. No need to log out and back in at all.

I have reconfigured the blocking rules which should now be less likely to catch legitimate users.

The lockout period should only be 10 seconds.

Did you get the error 1015 after 3:11 am?
When you get the human check, were you previously logged out of the forum?

I normally have several tabs open in 'Edge', with this Forum being the first one. I will browse through these tabs, and if I am 'away' from the Forum tab for more than around 15 minutes, I get the 'Human' check when I refresh the 'Forum' tab.

If you are reporting issues in this topic, please give the time and date of when the symptoms were last observed.

Although I may just have worked out why people are unexpectedly getting the human test.

As of now, I have reconfigured again, which should eliminate the false positives.

Couldn't get in late last night and got the "you have been temporarily banned message". I do log in several times a day so maybe I exceeded the previous limit.

Got in this morning to back to normalish..although still got the no graphics initial screen which I needed to refresh.

Thanks Mike for your expertise in sorting these things out and keeping the forum flowing when these problems crop up.

Kind regards

Neil

First issue I have had, at viewtopic.php?p=876145#p876145
2 mins ago I entered that post, clicked 'Submit' and got:
Error screen
Error screen
I waited 20 secs or so and clicked the recycle/refresh icon and it went through as normal. :)
