And memories of the quartic steering wheel.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

So the new front discs arrived fast 22 hrs post not bad at all they are fitted and the difference clearly came with the brake fluid reseveroiur needing a bit taken out to drop the level back to the normal mark, as you know winding the pistons back causes the fluid to rise then this proves who ever had the car before was topping up the fluids but not taking notice of why it was needed .

When winding pistons in I usually let the fluid out of the bleed screws to help avoid dirty fluid being pushed back.

I think I first came across it when we had an Astra having read somewhere that pushing the pistons in could reverse the seals in the master cylinder.

An adaptation of your method Paul, I have a very short tube terminating in a one way valve which I connect over the bleed nipple to ensure I don't suck any air in when pushing back the pistons. I collect the expelled fluid from each wheel in a jar for inspection afterwards! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
