Only LDS or Total Fluide DA, regardless of hydraulic or metallic suspension.

Don't trust anything from ECP - they haven't got a clue.

I'm telling you 100% only ever use LDS fluid. The same fluid is used in Hydractive or metallically sprung Citroen C5 X7 vehicles.

Pop your VIN up, (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff) so I can check the actual system fitted.

The LDS fluid was used for both suspension and power steering systems regardless of suspension type. It may be that as Hydractive suspension is no longer made, they are offering an alternative as the demand for LDS becomes less. I'll be able to check when I have your VIN.

Just to confirm also that TOTAL (AT42) FLUID was used on PSA vehicles BEFORE the C5 MK I. So the C5 MK I, MK II and MK III (X7) use Fluide DA or LDS.

As it's a C5 (that bit is important and shouldn't be left out) then it will need LDS or Fluide DA - they are the same. Are those the two different answers you're getting?

I keep getting this two options, don't know which one is correct:

1- Orange Fluid (e.g., Total Fluide LDS)
2- Green Fluid (e.g., febi 06161/ Pentosin CHF 11S)

My car has conventional steel-spring suspension, not Hydractive suspension, that is why it is confusing, cos as they say some of them :LDS is just for Hydractive suspension!
