Re: New suspension spheres!
Thanks Graeme,
I've still not resolved my starting problem, it looks electrical as both battery and starter motor are new and ran fine for 5 days then it refused to start no warning.
I hope your problem is resolved soon can'thelp but will offer moral support.

have you removed steal lines before "hammer time"?aerodynamica wrote: 25 Jun 2026, 08:41 Hi it took a lot of attempts before the mounting broke. The sphere was immensely tight. Possibly corrosion. All 7 spheres on my C5 were as tight as this. I was Possibly unlucky.
This time how did you remove it?aerodynamica wrote: 25 Jun 2026, 08:41 I fitted the sphere 3 years ago with a film of grease at the mating faces and also tightened it to hand tightness. Despite these precautions I found that it was again very stuck. So I don't really understand why.

Re: New suspension spheres!
this time I didn't remove it. It feels very soft at the front and I believe the centre sphere is still good after 3 years. I was simply curious to remove it because I had the subframe off.michok2 wrote: Yesterday, 06:46have you removed steal lines before "hammer time"?aerodynamica wrote: 25 Jun 2026, 08:41 Hi it took a lot of attempts before the mounting broke. As for your first question: I would remove the steel pipes for the front hydractive block. You have to remove all pipes, electrical plug and 3x mounting screws to remove the whole thing out the corner behind the engine. Then remove the sphere when you clamp the hydractive block with a bench vise.
Only if you are lucky will you fibs the sphere comes off alone. I was not so lucky.
