I'm missing all this fun with the Audi but just had to replace the starter motor, have a look at the armature in the attached photo

I've still not resolved my starting problem, it looks electrical as both battery and starter motor are new and ran fine for 5 days then it refused to start no warning.

I hope your problem is resolved soon can'thelp but will offer moral support.
