Diagbox/lexia drivers not working/not installing

Unread post by Qylian »

Hi everyone,

We're having issues getting diagbox/lexia working and are stuck after multiple reinstalls/updates.

Setup: Windows 7 professional 32-bit (x86)
Diagbox initially installed as v7.01, then updated to v7.58 with given update files.
We are using a PSA XS Evolution clone (921815B)
Car to diagnose: 1994 xantia

When we open diagbox and select citroen, xantia, it then says to plug in the VCI. After we plug in the VCI it still doesnt find the VCI, and when we look at device manager it says that there is an issue with the usb drivers. When I went back to the installer and extracted the driver installer and files, I ran the installer and it says that the driver pre-install was succesful. When replugging in the VCI, it still doesnt want to work.

Does someone maybe have the driver install files that we can use? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance :)

Have you been able to use the VCI on other vehicles? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Then it may be that the VCI will not communicate with the 32 bit software. maybe you need to find an older VCI to use with your 32 bit system? Only a suggestion with no experience to back it up! Good luck :)
