On this topic P1206 was fixed by replacing the ecu since it was not controlling the fuel pressure correctly viewtopic.php?t=71703 . It also had a high fuel pressure fault P1113.

Whats wrong with ecu? Van runs?

I’ve read that thread so its the ecu? I had similar problem with vauxhall combo internal sensor damaged, there is another van im working on and that says fuel pressure problem

Is this a permanent fault or can be repaired?

If your code reader does live data have a look at the fuel pressures and see if they are normal or not. Also before you delete the fault code have a look at the freeze frame data which will show the various sensor values when the fault was stored. If your reader cannot do this then I would have a diagnostic done to see what is wrong, it can be cheaper than trying to guess and replace parts hoping to get it right before spending too much money.

It might be the ecu but it could also be other parts that are not working correctly so best to have it checked first. If it does turn out to be the ecu and not a sensor then there are companies that can repair them.

I do not know much about fuel pressures but about 300 bar may be right at tick over.

If you can find the freeze frame data on the code reader see what that shows when the fault was recorded.

Van seems be in limp mode, would glow plugs 3 and 4 error cause this?

Is there anywhere i can find what the readings should be? New glow plugs going in today and when you say freeze data what do you mean? P1206 wont clear

have a look at the freeze frame data which will show the various sensor values when the fault was stored.

When a fault code is stored the car also stores the values of the various sensors when the fault was stored. You should be able to find this freeze frame data with a code reader that does live data.
