Wheel bolt thread for 2014 C4

Unread post by Vic Evans »

Can someone please tell me what wheel bolt thread there is on Mme's car.
We're both getting too old to hold up wheel after puncture to line up bolt holes & thought one like this might make life easier.

There should be a plain stud in the vehicle toolkit, you screw that in then hang the wheel on

I had a look in my 3008 - no pin in there, but there is space in the tool tray for such a tool! So appears to be some markets only....weird!

Possible reasons may include cost cutting, less weight means better fuel economy, maybe they think UK people do not change wheels, it would not be used, it could damage the bolt hole paint, UK are strong enough to not need the tool ?

Item number 5 is the tool to remove the plastic caps on the wheel bolt heads. Item number 4 is the wheel locating pin.

They definitely have the alignment stud on UK market cars.
Not uncommon for bits of the tool kit to go missing as it goes through different owners.

Still haven't had a butchers as we've had to deal with an ill horse who eventually had to be PTS'd .
Just assuming there's not one in the kit can someone tell me what thread I should answer?
