Re: Must be me
Always good to see a C5 replace those!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Must be me
It might be that you are right in that there is a height imbalance. I don't have the information to check the correct ride heights (as this is an X7 C5), but I believe there will be a way to measure the ride height (front and rear) and then (using a Lexia, if the imbalance is slight) to re-set the correct heights.

Re: Must be me
I had the steel sprung 2.0 163 bhp one for 6+ years and still look back on it as one of the very best long distance cars I ever owned.
For the 'proper' suspension this looks to be a simple, if unscientific, quick fix. The ramps are imporatnt though, adjusting ride height from underneath might have some risks

Re: Must be me
Before you jack the car up you need to read this topic (if not already aware) which says to raise the car to max suspension height and then slacken the lds tank cap until the wheels are back on the ground. Something similar is in the handbook but could easily be missed and might not mention the cap.

You should also not go underneath it without using axle stands or ramps since if a suspension height sensor is knocked or being worked on the car can quickly drop to a low level and squash you.
