Hi,

I bought a C4 Cactus.
It comes with software version 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0.
I downloaded the Citroen update app and it confirmed that I could download software version 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0 and the latest maps.
A total of over 23GB.
The app downloaded everything and then prepared a flash drive.
However, a message appears in the car "Version not compatible with the hardware"
I contacted the Citroen helpline, and they sent me links to the software so I could manually upload it to the flash drive, but that didn't help either.
Any suggestions?

I don't know very much about NAC/RCC systems except that, mostly, the answer lies with Stellantis to issue some new up-to-date licences. They don't move very fast and, frankly, if not enough people complain through their dealers then it won't get done.

Forum member @rui_saraiva knows a lot about these systems and can sometimes help if he sees the query.

Hi,

I do own a C5 Aircross 2020 and have tried to update to 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0 firmware and it has bricked the thing. It came with 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0 firmware.

My VIN is VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Is there a simple way to rollback the firmware? I'm currently downloading the original version in order to try it.

Kind regards.

As far as I know it's not possible to roll back a firmware update easily. It's the sort of thing that would need a reasonably well equipped electronic workshop specialising in this sort of thing.

I thought so lol

They never make it easy to do anything.

Anyways, I've tried another usb stick and couldn't get it to work, I believe that I'm either missing a license file or just completely out of luck unfortunately.

I've tried to load the new maps and see if that worked...the touchscreen just keeps rebooting forever now.

Hello from Germany,
same problem here!
We also just bought a C4 Cactus with the software version 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0. We own a C3 Aircross as well, so we know how to do the updates in general and it always worked.
Can anyone help please?

We have 2022 C5 Aircross Sport and the 'Radio Settings' menu item is greyed out. Any reason for this? Would like to turn on RDS

I have a DS9 MY2021 with NAC Wave 4. After updating to 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0, some functions disappeared from the menu (Lane Assist, Night Vision).
I would like to perform a downgrade to 44.07.05.22_NAC-r0.

I already have the .tar firmware file, but I am missing the VIN license file.
My VIN is: VR1**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].

Could someone please help me generate the license for this version?
Thank you very much in advance!

I have a 2019 C5 Aircross (VIN: VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]). I tried to download the update via the Citroën Update application. It offers me maps version 17, but not a firmware update. The maps won’t install and an error appears. My current firmware is 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0. When I enter my VIN on the link https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system, it shows NAC_EUR_WAVE4. I downloaded all the available versions, but none of them will install. Could you please confirm if I need a license file for the update, or if it is enough to simply connect the car to the internet via my phone’s Wi-Fi?

Hello,

"My current firmware is 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0. When I enter my VIN on the link https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system, it shows NAC_EUR_WAVE4. "

This is probably a good news for you.

It seems possible to update directly with the firmware
version_44-07-33-32_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE4.tar

However, I think that this will only work if you have the license corresponding to this version and the IUN for your vehicle.

Try to get it with this command: https://majestic-web.mpsa.com/mjf00-web ... UUUUUUUUUU

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU is the l'UIN of your NAC
