Hi all,
I also have the same issue but I have a Peugeot 508, with engine DW12C, will the part mentioned above also fit my engine? Your help would be much appreciated.
This is the only place I have found other owners with the same issue.

Yes, this is the pipe I had to replace on my C5 X7. It took a few hours, you have to excavate down the engine, remove air cleaner, then water pump and the pipes attached to it.There is a pipe at the rear of block to allow removal of water pump too. There is only 1 rubber pipe attached to the offending piece which pulls off first. Once you get to it, a pair of multi grips in a side twisting motion will loosen it, the new piece is lightly hammered into situ using locktite 609 to keep it in place. The water pump replace is easy, does not require any new gaskets and cannot be overtightened either.. The "pinhole" leak happens on a manufacturing mold mark; appropriately this piece is manufactured by General Motors! It took 4 weeks to get the part from France to Australia! about $39AU Now to manage to post the pics for you...
The part number required is 024547 I can't figure how to post the pics for you to see on this site..or add attachments, if someone can instruct this, I'll upload for you all to see.
