Help needed with BHZ Engine

Unread post by phil227 »

Hello i am in the procees of fitting a new crankshaft to the above engine 1.6 HDI BHZ . vin VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

My question is what is the torque spec for the main bearings and the big ends , do you have to renew the bolts as i am getting conficting info .

If the bolts require replacment where can i buy the other than a main dealer . Thanks Phil .

Phil

Can't help with the torques, but let me know what part numbers you need for any items on the diagram: once you have these you can order them from your dealer or elsewhere if available.

The metal caps are on the diagram for engine block,

So that part number for (2) is out of date Steve.

(2) MUL Hex Head Machine Screw, part: 9813900780, £3.19
