Hi,

Have problem with a 407 1.6hdi.
The code is p0069 and I have checked the map sensor and its fine. The fault pop up direct when the ignition is turned on, without starting the engine.

Turbo boost pressure seems correct against the actual real atmospheric pressure (976mbar) with the engine off. Checked this value with another car that also showed 980mbar.

But the atmospheric pressure that the ecu reads is way off, 765mbar.
Does anyone knows where this barosensor located? Is it located in the ecu?

The differens between turbo pressure and atmospheric pressure to big.
But where is the sensor that delivers this atmospheric value?

This is measured by MAP sensor and is located by his name, in manifold (Manifold Atmospheric Pressure).Is the right s/n sensor that you replace in manifold and that is good quality? You have to check also power and grounds of sensor plug and signal, as fuses or relay. The way is described in video after 4.15. I think the video is exactly your case scenario fault.

When the ignition is turned on the ecu compare the map senor value against a other pressure sensor to check that the sensors work correctly. Map sensor seems to be called turbo pressure in diagbox, and I wondering where the other sensor I located that gives the signal for atmospheric pressure.
Most likely it is placed directly on the pcb of the ecu, but I'm not sure.

And MAP = manifold absolute pressure, not atmospheric.

You are right.A copy/paste accident., If there is a pressure sensor embedded in ECU, is not good news.

You haven't specified the exact engine, so I'm assuming this is a DV6TED4 (VIN will help):

Fault Code:	P0069
Description of Fault:	Turbocharger pressure signal: Coherence with the atmospheric pressure. Description of the diagnostics Difference for 10s between the turbo pressure and the atmospheric pressure greater than 120 mbar without a regeneration of FAP, or greater than 400 mbar with a regeneration of the FAP. Conditions of activation of the diagnostics: Consult the associated contexts for the Pcode forwarding conditions: Engine speed between 500 and 850 rpm Speed less than 3 km/h
Conditions for Fault to clear:	Idle the engine for more than 10 seconds

We had a 12 month pause, but now we are working with this car again.
The vin number is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].

When I have diagbox connected the atmospheric pressure is all over the place. Varying between 600mbar to 750mbar.

Permanents fault are now:
P0069
P0490
P1162
P1351
P0409

New delphi erg valve part number: eg10507 12v1 is mounted and a new intake pressure sensor. The egr is programed with diagbox, but it seems to fail.

Did some measurement between the ecu and egr connector and the cables seems to be okay. When I do the actuator test the valve moves okay.

So what to do next. Could the problem be the Ecu?
