Ok, not sure if this is good enough , but space was hard , i have jubliee clips on order so can swap out this tie for a clip , what does anyone think ? The tie is very tight.

Tested the rotation of the hub it turns a quater turn then almost locks up , i will pressed the old bearing out as i want to see how bad it is. I did drive the route with said pot hole . The hole is over 5 inches deep on a bend to the left which you dont see till its too late.

Rattle can job.. Zink primer 2 coats, 3 gold matt top coat followed by 3 coats of clear coat . Looks ok to me. The water marks on the wheel were what flicked off the plant in the photo.

Sorry didn't see your request above, so was a good shout jumping in to my blog.
Gosh, from what described of the hole in the road and the state of the wheel bearing now - how does the wheel and tyre look?
(Actually, have I missed the paint job is a replacement wheel?? Thought was just a spruce up of existing set at first read through)

Cars all done , wheel is ok ive put a level across on as many directions as poss and compared it to the other side and everything looked the same so i was lucky , unlike the old 207 i had that did get damage to the wheel , But getting back to clips i found one in my shed as i was finishing the driver side today it was a perfect fit , then had to pop to the hospital for a few hours & when i got home there was a small parcel on the door step , clips !
So with that i took the cable tie off the passenger side popped on the clip sent it home as shown by the photos & thanks to Matts advice plus mick , Job done.

36mm hub nut.
Caliper slider nuts 13mm
Lower ball joint 41,42mm depending on part manufacture as ive had this experince before a couple of times.

Re: 206cc to a 308cc How ? Why ? Everything 308cc
So ive got the car tracking done. Went for a short test drive then both esp & abs warning lights came up on display. Ive cleared it twice but it comes back. Ive used 3 diagnostic tools & one only gave the true cause.
PP2000 cleared it too but it came back on after a mile. Ive done the whole drive like this do that for so many meters at 10kmh , still lights on. I went out with maxicom plugged in and it told me ABS sensor front driver side .. Distant & inconsistant .. Looks like i may of over tightend the sensor or maybe it needs a clean. Any body had this happen ?

Out with the old .... some point i will take the driver side wheel off then check the abs sensor . Might test it with an ohms meter aswell. I cant understand how changing the hubs would throw these faults up.
Also worth checking if the hub bearings are fitted the correct way as ive seen reports of some being pressed in the wrong way round.

Sorry Husky, only just seen your question:
ABS sensors failing for me have only been dead sensors, not intermittent faults.

A fatigue break in the cable could have given way if the cable was stretched when working on the hub.
