Hello everyone I read forum long time but that's my first post after registration few minutes ago . I currently get warning about low level of DPF fluid and service writing on dashboard. I already bought 3 litre additive fluid kit on eBay but still not topped up because my nearby garages have no time or willingness to connect diagnostic tool to made necessary things. So I have 2 questions:

1 - is any chance make sure what pat fluid is need just after registration number?

2 - what tool / software I will need to update fluid level ?

1) No, I need your VIN not the reg number to determine the correct type of additive. You should of asked this question first before buying any additive as it must be the exact correct type and some additives cannot be mixed together or you will damage the pump dosing system and that will be more expense.
2) You need a professional level diagnostic tool with Lexia / Diagbox, laptop etc. If you don't have this or don't know what your doing, just get the dealer to fill it and reset for you - often will be cheaper in the long run without issues.

Hi

You don't have an Eolys additive tank on this vehicle (like me). The particle filter uses natural regeneration when it reaches the required temperature. So no need to worry about this.

I bought that way because I had back injury and I couldn't look under car to check colour of connection.

About digabox any chance help with one kit I will need because on eBay is that many prices and kits I don't know which one to order.

First of all - thanks for answer. This is good and bad news for me together
May I share my problem here? After quick search I didn't find appropriate topic. Ofc feel free to move it to a better location.

OBD scanner shows P242F(97) alarm, and FAP app shows FAP life left is 0 (together with very short regen intervals of ~300km).
Actual mileage is 170,200 km (I am in Germany).
All the rest is Ok - dynamic, fuel consumption, FAP differential pressure (as can be seen on screenshot), as well as cars cockpit doesn't indicate any alarm.
Well, ok, I am not sure about Cinder count in FAP = 37%, is it much?

I thought refilling Eolys helps me, but obviously I don't have it.

Should I worry about replacement of DPF now? Or, what should I worry about now?

Yes, from that mileage your DPF is likely nearing / reached end of service life. The code means the filter has reached the threshold of it's service life, so time to think about either having the DPF professionally deep-cleaned or replaced with a new one and then telling it you have replaced int he repair section.

May I know, what happened if I ignore this for a while?
I mean, it's looks to time kind of "statistical" interval from Citroen, when DPF must to be replaced.
I am thinking to monitor diff pressure, but the question is - can the car forcibly gone to limp mode just becasue of "calculated lifetime" is finished?

The system is fitted with differential pressure sensors that act as a safety device. You may need to go for a 'hard drive' on the autobahn to get the engine gasses nice and hot and give the DPF a good opportunity to regenerate the filter. But you have to realise that engine debris and ash (that can't be burned off during regeneration) will remain and gradually block the filter. If the filter gets anywhere from 70% and upwards blocked, then it may become impossible to regenerate and will need replacing.

You will eventually get power limitation (limp mode) initiated by the engine ECU if the filter remains blocked as this will cause back pressure and engine problems.

One last question - is "Cinder count in FAP" in FAP app shows the blockage of the filter? It's currently 37%.
I am wondering how can it be calculated by ECU...

So it's mean my C5 is X7 ? Any suggestion about diagnostic kit I'm confused with Lexia or Digabox kits models and difference between them.
