Yes, Powerflex is required (reservoir system) for a build of 14228 (there's no 'U9') in your RPO.

Eolys Extend was only required for certain vehicles from some later build dates, it wasn't a general thing.

Make sure they pay the full postage for returns for that reason as it is not what you ordered and they are liable for return postage. If they don't have what is advertised then here's a supplier that is showing the correct part number:

I get really peed off with these abysmal sellers on ebay that think they can send any old crap out and get away with it.
Sent another eBay order not as pictured on the listing. Ffs.
Would this work for my C3 Picasso?

Unbelievable!

At the end of the day they are in breach of the selling regulations as they are advertising a genuine PSA product from the photos, with official part numbers and packaging, yet are deceitfully selling an inferior unbranded 'who knows what the hell it is' alternative.

I'd report them as such and get them to pick it up post paid.

I really cannot advise as that's not want it says - none of the info on the label confirms this is Powerflex and therefore I can't advise you on this - really sorry, but this is the problem with ebay sellers thinking they can get away with anything.

I'm reluctant to advise further, but this Amazon link has the stuff with the filling kit for £28

i have the warning DPF fluid low on a 62 plate 2L diesel - cireon C4 Grand Picasso

My independant garage has done the work - and other things - added 1l Pat fluid and the computer now recognises the fluid amount all OK
But it still comes up with the fault
I see in a youtube video comment , that this can be triggered by the petrol filler - tried that

any ideas how this can be rest ???
The guy last night said he tried all he knows on the software and has had this one before on a Berlingo - and it runs fine

I assume it will still regenearate and clear the DPF filter - this stuff just allows it to doit at a lower temp - we do a bit of A / M way driving

has 100,500 on clock , when it click on with the fault

i have a cheap Connector i got off ebay years ago - pretty much will just give the codes and clear - so not much use - although not tried this

He needs to properly reset the additive counter which may be in several places or the warning won't go away. This is usually reset to zero.

Thanks , does this mean the car will not add any of the fluid , because despite it now saying 2.3L of fluid , it doe snot think its got any , or will other issues occur ???
Its going to be used for a few 100 mile next week and than later in July do about 800 mile trip
Or will it just be an error light that woint go away .... and no other impact

Hard to say whether it will get to the stage when it thinks it's near empty and may deactivate the pump or will carry on regardless. I can't advise exactly as there are different pumps and the engine ECU may have different methods of dealing with this. If you want to have it reset properly, get it into Citroen for a 30 minute diagnostic time. If you tell them it's been refilled, but they can't reset it, they may just be able to do that for you quickly enough.

thanks , i will have to find one that can fit us in, when i called about windscreen wiper issues 4 weeks ago , and a scan , they wanted £180 to do the scan and could not do it until 27th June - the next Cetreon garage could not do anything for 5 weeks until July for a scan , and by the way there are NO windscreen Wiper Motors in the country ........ and once we diagnose with the scan it will be anther 4-6 weeks before we could book in the work
I did mangae to get a set of wiper motors NEW form another supplier (but had the last 2) - so just paid up and they were fitted and now all working yesterday as well as the fluid
I will have to try a few dealers , at least now we can travel a distance , before it was an issu eof it was raining when booked in as well as the ridiculous time scales
We will call Portsmouth tomorrow - as they were the ones who helped get the wipers from another company and helpful , unlike chichester

There was Freebourne Citroen in Titchfield many moons ago. Perhaps it's time to change the holiday agenda to France! :-D

I think to be honest, as long as you have fluid in, you are not going to do any damage and it is likely it will keep dosing. But even if it doesn't, you still have natural regeneration if you are doing long runs as this will occur naturally in the DPF when the exhaust gasses reach 550° C.

The danger is when there is no fluid in the pump and that can lead to dry running, which is why I'm leaning on the side of it'll be ok as you have fluid in there, if you can live with the annoying light and message for now.

Brilliant, yep have fluid in he added 1L yesaterday , and he did say - he had another car where he had the same issue and could not reset and that been fine for 6mths running around , Just me being a bit worried and looking on the black side of things
I will get him to look again on July10th when back in and we dont need to worry about going to Devon, also another £180 for a scan / reset ... I will still ask
Spent almost 2K on the car so far , with all this service MOT and 4 NEW Tyres & Brakes £700 , then £500 for just the wiper parts , £500 to fit the parts and this fluid - and going as Parking sensors dont work, and the Aircon packed up ......
so feeling the pinch a bit

But thanks for all the info and support here , put my mind at rest

Crikey, best scratch France then, and Devon, maybe settle for a pickled onion and a packet of crisps all round! :-D

Best of luck and have a good holiday.

Hello everyone I read forum long time but that's my first post after registration few minutes ago . I currently get warning about low level of DPF fluid and service writing on dashboard. I already bought 3 litre additive fluid kit on eBay but still not topped up because my nearby garages have no time or willingness to connect diagnostic tool to made necessary things. So I have 2 questions:

1 - is any chance make sure what pat fluid is need just after registration number?

2 - what tool / software I will need to update fluid level ?

Car - Citroen C5 2.0 HDi 16v vtr+ navi 2010

I'm apologize for my English as it's not my 1 language.

Many thanks

Dusty.
You need Powerflex Additive Dusty and have a reservoir not a pouch. You can buy from the dealers of course or from other places on the web. Remember you will also need Diagbox to reset the additive counter afterwards or you will keep getting warnings.
