Your system is supposed to update automatically. The dealer will charge £35 (UK) time to do this if you request it, but honestly the vehicle should do this automatically.

Make sure you have the My Citroen App, as once you have logged in, it should advise of updates and how to update them.

I think you have a more important issue on your vehicle at present to worry about than a telematic update!

Your vehicle has a warning not to be driven from Citroen due to the dangerous Takata Airbags installed on your vehicle:
MK7 - Driver, Passenger Airbag (Takata)

- As previously advised by the letter sent to you, Citroën/DS asks you to stop driving your vehicle equipped with Takata airbags. - Please click on the 'check-in' red button. - By completing the “check-in”, the repair for your Citroën/DS vehicle will be organized as soon as possible. An alternative solution for your mobility needs will also be considered. - In the meantime, please ensure that your vehicle will not be used, and all persons with access to the vehicle are informed accordingly.
This recall was issued on 26th April 2024 and has reference: MK7

I suggest you do as they say and not drive the vehicle, but call the nearest dealership and quote the recall reference. All work will be free of charge.

Back on the issue of your firmware - I can't help with this as you don't have a NAC / RCC system, you have a SMEG unit and don't provide updates for this system, but seriously, do get that airbag issue sorted as these can do the following:
Overview
Tens of millions of vehicles with Takata air bags are under recall. Long-term exposure to high heat and humidity can cause these air bags to explode when deployed. Such explosions have caused injuries and deaths.

NHTSA urges vehicle owners to take a few simple steps to protect themselves and others from this very serious threat to safety.

DO NOT DRIVE

Do Not Drive warnings have been issued for some of the vehicles.

Thank you so much for informing me, I'm going to contact them today, could you tell me where i can find information regarding the recall so I can tell them when i call, I've searched the Internet and didn't find anything, also, as i bought this car second hand, i never got any letter or any notification on the Citroën app..
Regarding the firmware, that's a bit sad, i was hoping to get android auto there.

You need to contact a main Citroen Dealership (not an independent), just provide them with your VIN - they will have all the information on their system. I don't know what the vehicle licensing requirements are in Portugal, but the dealership may not be aware of who the new owner is, so may not have sent the letter to you - it may have gone to the previous owner.

You don't need any additional info - they will already have it on their database from your VIN. Just quote recall reference MK7, that's all they need.

Ok, so you problem may be that you have a 'Wave 3' version of the Hardware. This has merged into Wave 4 Updates, but in many cases needs the 'bridging firmware to switch it over to Wave 4, which is why it may be refusing to go straight to the lates Wave 4 version which is what is being returned.

To confirm this, let me know what the current system firmware you have installed is, then I can advise with the correct firmware to convert it over to Wave 4 if this is the case.

1. Press the cog icon at top right of screen
2. Options
3. System settings
4. System info
5. OK

You're looking for a screen like this:
