Sorry, no idea. I don't recognise it at all, don't think there any rectangular pieces in there. I've just checked my factory service manual and it doesn't show it in any of the exploded views.
This is a PSA Lucas Epic pump?

Hi all
I am not sure if I have misdiagnosed the source of my leak. I had it in my mind it was the four O rings under the solenoid block where it attaches to the pump body but I have just looked again at a video I took last year when I last used the car and its gathering here (red arrow is on a stock picture and yellow circle is a freeze frame of the video of my car showing the fuel pooling)

I am now wondering if this is above the height of those o rings and hence is coming from the o rings inside the solenoid mechanism and not where the block fits onto the pump body

The 2nd photo is 90 degs out, couldn't work it out at first. Yep, quite possibly, easy to do in situ. Without rereading this thread I'm sure I posted how to and O ring sizes.

Ok thanks I will take a look. I had only been reading about the procedure for changing the bottom o rings as I thought that was the source but will look back to see if I can find anything on the top/internal o rings. I think I remember a PDF in french showing that on an earlier post too

thanks. I will have another look tomorrow to see if its leaking from the top or if its leaking from the bottom spilling over the base. pretty sure the seal kit I have doesn't have the internal o rings for the solenoids

No it won't. This is not supposed to be serviceable (along with some other bolt on bits of electrickery), officially it should be replaced. The O ring sizes are stated in the link. Any decent bearing supplier will stock them.

Hmm the O ring size just gives one diameter but doesn't say if its OD or ID

O rings are always ID and core thickness

Hi
Does anyone know if the rear plastic cover can be removed in situ or will it not pass the feed pipe nuts? I took the top cover off but I couldn't see what was holding the rear part on
I'm trying to see where my leak is coming from before I plan my next move and I think it's somewhere under that cover
cheers
