If you are going to fit a replacement used engine the timing belt should still be replaced and the used engine might not be in as good condition as your existing engine. There have been reports of the Puretech timing belts failing at around 20k miles and only 4 years old so what might seem like a low mileage engine could still have timing belt problems.

Replacement of the Timing Belt on this vehicle is 64000 Miles / 6 year(s) Then every 128000 Miles / 12 year(s).

Oil:

For the UK, any of the following grades are acceptable. Citroen Specifications are shown after the grades for each of the oils.

EM: 5W30 B71 2290 - 5W30 B71 2290 (C2)
EM: 0W30 B71 2312 - 0W30 B71 2312 (C1C2)
5W40 B71 2296 (A3B4) - EM: 5W40 B71 2296
