Reasonable scattergun approach Jim, but by the time we got to K-Reg the machinations of that particular corner of the UK motor industry had a new name to put on things. Simple little wiki /internet search will come up with the relatively precise model of that van. Later than the Morris Commercial and Austin J Series, and post BMC badging too.
Keep going the clue of the Sunblest van should help!

Comprehension test from the previous video....
What are these, as precisely as you can identify them
Having briefly mentioned the little quest Gibbo supplied this

Austin LD range Neil I think, like this one.
As mentioned to Jim, not quite precise enough and hits the bar
Mick, lurking in the six-yard box nods the rebound goalwards with this effort.

I have reason to believe that the Sunblest van is badged as a Leyland FG?
It's not the right ball, the Sunblest ball was merely a practice ball, Mick has very probably headed the Sunblest ball into the net, but its the Grimsby Fish ball that is the match ball.
I read this piece on the breed and it is indeed of the type FG and the Grimsby Fish Vans are as Mick identified Leyland FG. The Sunblest van would have been either BMC, or Austin/Morris FG but not Leyland.
Morris FG/Austin FG (S200 and 404) 1959 to 1968
BMC FG 1968 to 1970
Leyland FG 1970 to 1980
There was another Variant known as the FM with a larger Cabin with a larger front which allowed the engine to be moved further forward. The FM in its similar branding timetable through Austin/Morris, BMC, and Leyland was according to the article almost exclusively supplied to Post Office Telephones and the Royal Mail.
So unlikely that Grimsby Fish or Sunblest had the FM Variant.
The Sunblest Van in the Pic is an F Reg (1 August 1967 – 31 July 1968) and likely to be badged Austin/Morris or BMC but not Leyland.
The Grimsby Fish Vans are K Reg (1 August 1971 – 31 July 1972) and from the video, definitely branded Leyland.

Goes well with all the other tat in his showroom...
I think you and Mick hit on a day in between sales for your visit. This week-end over 500 vehicles at Thornton-le-Dale and at their bigger premises at Pickering on an Industrial Estate are awaiting auction on Friday/Saturday and would have proved an interesting browse.
For me this one couldn't ever be in the "tat" category. French, a 1954 model, in a lovely colour, has these nice wheels, and a nice face. I wonder what it could be...

Now this really has perked my interest, not only is it one of my favourite cars of the time but it is also Red and, believe it or not it's an auto!!!!
Delay your Beamish visit to September, and you would be able to drive it home, if you did your little tour in Jim's AX . ( or even if you did it in your Subaru I'm sure Jim would drive it back for you!). Can't fault the walkround video, looks an excellent car They are very reasonable on arrangements for pick up of vehicles after the sale, and no additional charge for storage in their normal arrangements. Easily enough collected mid-week following a sale.

It does make me wonder if it would be feasible to go and look at it when we come up in August. How far is it from Beamish to the auction Neil?
Killingworth is literally just off the A19 Through the tunnel and 8 miles or so heading North, and a short hop on to the Drift up what is known as the Spine road (A189) up past Blyth and Ashington. There is a Premier Inn at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Ashington. not far from the Drift ( 4 miles or so) and perfectly possible for Jim to do the Chariots of fire thing at Druridge bay. You will see from the maps that the Beamish to Killingworth thing is a mere short hop with the proviso that the A19 is in the middle of long term roadworks in the Silverlink to Cramlington section and for up here can result in jams. Ways round it though.
So that would be 40.6 miles from Beamish to Druridge Bay with Killingworth halfway along. Given that Beamish doesn't open until 10 I think we may consider reversing the plan. Head up to Druridge Bay in the morning to allow Jim to have his early morning run there, then Drift Cafe for Breakfast around 9-10 then down to Auction and on to Beamish for the afternoon before dinner back at The Worm. You would be most welcome to join us at any point or part of that plan Neil. Once I have discussed it with Jim I'll talk to the auction about a viewing on that day!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Happy to sort something out nearer the time. I can predict that there will be absolutely no problem with viewing at Wb and Sons, they are a very friendly bunch and will be more than happy to meet with you. Never done it before but with prior arrangement, if you are cheeky enough, you could maybe ask for a quick demonstration "on the road". You don't want an autobox that clunks engaging drive/reverse or flares like a slipping clutch when you put your foot down!
This little map shows you the alternative routes the western one up/down the A1 or the Eastern Route Tunnel-A19-A189. Dont hold me to it but I would back the western route as the least traffic/ less roadworks. I can give you a bit more local knowledge nearer the time to hopefully make it as easy as possible.
