Hi there,
the screw (pos. 72) is for Hex Allen Key, not Torx, right?

Thanks for the lightning info Marc!
OK, think I managed to decipher it, this should be metric thread M7 mm by 1 mm thread step and 15 mm lenght.
I couldn't fit any key of my own, which would engage it. Also can't see it from above.
I guess some regrinding would be neccessary to fit lets say Hex Allen Key for M8, or buy the proper tool :D.

Most of the bolts are TORX fittings Martin - but that diagram I posted was for a Citroen Dispatch Van and they are different according to vehicle - so be aware - if you are wanting this for your Xantia - the bolt is completely different. If you can post the VIN for the vehicle you want the info for I can get the correct one.

Bought yesterday a 7 mm hex allen key, but still couldn't engage it from above. Made some pics with my phone and from what is visible on them, it doesn't seems to be a TORX head. Doesn't matter anymore as I am already p*ssed off and I'm going to tackle it face to face under the car :D

P.S.: I guess I'm getting stupid :D. You can't see it under the car either. Tried again with my new 7 mm hex allen key -> nope. Put a finger on it an the oil print seemed like hex hole. Don't know why I took the T40 key (torx) and it got unscrewed -> after finally looking at the bolt's head, doh it is for 6 mm hex :rofl2:

Hi, first of all, thanks for a lot of info I've got from this thread!

And the question, do you have the part number for the pos.3?

264306 is the longer version and 264306 has only 2 "feet"... I need one exactly like pos. 3 but I can't find the part nr.

Thanks!

That was an older post before we were charged for official parts data.

If you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then pop your VIN up.
