I'm afraid I have changed mine for an LED
That's a terrible admission Peter

I still miss the almost total eclipse of LP Sodium and its soothing and attractive yellow light... I still have one - an ex-MK streetlight head - should I need a fix... I fire it up occasionally
I love seeing them start up - the rosy glow of the Penning mixture to vaporise the sodium and the the slow rise to full brightness

I find LEDs very harsh but have to admit they do a good job - whilst they work. I'm finding they are shockingly short-lived and fail regularly around here and the council take ages to fix them. Same with our LED traffic lights... Many MK ones have one or two aspects 'out' and they blame a spares shortage... Never an issue when they used halogen filament bulbs...
Even in town, I need to wear my head torch when running in the dark simply because so many lights are out. Never had that problem with the old Sodium ones...
