Quick Stupid question on diagbox

Hi Lads,

Plugged in with my OBD Scanner it says vehicle speed sensor P0500 and P1351. I take it P1351 is the ghost glow plug fault that has followed C5's around since the MK1. Is P1351 Engine or ABS speed sensor.

That's the firmware version and won't help if the hardware is not there - it just won't communicate with the vehicle or will only communicate with some ECUs if lucky.

Hi Wolfgang it used to work on a MK1 C5 I had but not on this one. I might look at getting a new VCI. thanks

yes this exists with China clones - some work with the C5I and C5R (diagnosed with the LEXIA) but do not work well with the C5 X7/C6/Peugeot 307 (diagnosed with the Diagbox).

And it's not always whether it's full chip or just 2 chip - I know clones that work perfectly well with 2 chip and full chip for the dustbin. Sometimes there is nothing under the chip caps.

It Has a full chipset the cable is frayed around the vga kind of cable so ordered a new cable and the diagnostic software from easydiagnostics. if it works great if not I need to buy a new VCI
