c3 picasso Water in diesel filter

Unread post by piki »

Citroen picasso c3 1600 t diesel 2012

my fuel additive pump was broken few months ago , and after i fixed it it showed me a waring of -risk of filter clogging , and water in diesel filter.
now after i put the new pump with fluid in place (like a month ago) , the risk of filter clogging is gone , (i cleaned the dpf filter also) ,
and the water in diesel filter warning still realy bugging me.
i have tried to disconnect the connector of the water in fuel! filter sensor but it still popps , and some time it can beep for a few minutes in a row....
any advice?

There is a procedure for replacing the Fuel Filter and for the bleeding / water in Diesel. I've put it in the Member Resources Section:

C3 Picasso 1.6 HDi 92 (DV6DTED) Fuel Filter Replacement / Bleeding

The Resources section is for members that have made a donation (which also provides you with live parts information and parts diagrams for up to 2 years) so good value. Details below:

If you can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future parts requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then pop your VIN up.
A response to your question by a Forum Admin requiring parts or additional information requires you to have made a current contribution (£10 min.) to the Forum.
