407 hdi 2.7l oil pressure sensor and location

Unread post by 407 »

After an oil and filter change, a few days later I'm getting a oil low pressure warning at idle

Goes away when over 1000 rpm and normal driving

Oil is full (used 10-40w as we are in a hot climate)

Filter (paper cartridge) was a Coopers WC0107 Manns

I suspect the oil pressure sensor but have read it could be the oil pickup screen (assume it has one) being dirty

can I get a part number plus a location diagram

Vin is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

thanks

@ Andy:
207 Rear Shock.PNG
The originals parts are no longer available, so PSA are recommending part 5206 QC as an alternative for this vehicle. These of course must be replaced in pairs. Priced at £66.11 each.

Alternatively, they offer a cheaper version, part: 1623315080 priced at £50.34 each.

Hi Dan - I've double checked and as your thrust bearing (in the first diagram) item (3) is part 2041A3, the only full kit that includes this specific thrust bearing kit is 1631733780.

I have removed the first 2 options from my previous post as they won't be relevant.
