Hi does anyone know how easy/difficult this is, im trying to find a video but can only find skoda/vw ones.
the access to the injector looks easy enough as its at the front of the engine, i have various errors on the dash ref it (used ODB2 reader to get codes as in previous post) also has build up of urea around the injector and it does drip slightly when engine running, thought i might try cleaning it or getting a new one. (Which does anyone know the part number for its a 65 plate)
Date of first registration December 2015
Year of manufacture 2015
Cylinder capacity 1560 cc
CO₂ emissions 95 g/km
Fuel type DIESEL
Thanks.

Re: Remove Adblue/Urea Injector - C4 Hatch back to clean out
Its really easy to remove & refit.
Remove the undertray first (if fitted)
Unplug the electrical connector
Disconnect the urea pipe, its held on by a plastic circlip thingy, you are meant to push it in to release it but i find it easier to just carefully remove it with a small screwdriver.
The injector is then just held on by a little clamp with a small allen bolt, it just looks like a tiny exhaust clamp.
Don’t think you will be able to do much to clean it unless you have an ultrasonic bath & means to auctuate it. You do normally get a bit of crud buildup around the nozzle.

Cheers, il ltake a look over the weekend to see if it is easy I might get a friend whos a mobile mechanic to replace it if not.
This is similar to what it looks like with the crystilisation and the dips.

Re: Remove Adblue/Urea Injector - C4 Hatch back to clean out
Can someone tell me what the grey cloth bag type thing is around the end of the injector a tube goes into it then the injector comes out? mine is solid?
Re: Remove Adblue/Urea Injector - C4 Hatch back to clean out
It's insulation to stop the heat from the exhaust melting the plastic urea pipe & also i suppose to help stop the urea freezing at the injector as i dont think that part of the pipe is heated.
