Rneg firnware

I have a rneg becker. Would anyone know where to download firmware for this unit.. its works fine but only has french snd no options to change language

A firmware update won't fix that - the options for System Language, Date & Time, Display, Vehicle, Units & System Info are all accessed from pressing the SETUP button.

What version of firmware are you currently on - use the options above to go into the System menu and that should provide the firmware version.

Many thanks for your reply. There are no options in the system menu. They appear to be missing except for date and time. Its a used radio I bought. I am not sure of the current firmware.
I just thought that reloading firmware would give me back the options.

Ok so are you 100% sure you have the MyWay and not the RT6 eMyWay?

They look the same except that the MyWay has an SD Card slot on the front bottom middle of the unit see below.

The reason I ask is that the condition you describe is generally associated with the eMyWay after a major firmware update, that requires a dealer visit to reconfigure the unit. Until this has been done, the unit will be missing that menu I described. This will be the first time ever I have heard of this happening on a MyWay RNEG though.

Its a rneg made by becker. It has the sd card slot in the front. I have diagbox.. can i reconfigure with that ?

Highly unlikely. Have you coded your VIN to the replacement unit yet?

Normally the loss of the menu is when a firmware update has been done or the configuration has been lost.

Normally with the RT6, this needs the dealer doing in internet connected mode with technician log in to PSA servers, as the ECU goes into secure mode and cannot be unlocked without a log in.

Yes , vin coding is fine , all working except missing menu. Its not in the car anymore, had to get a replacement because of the language. Was hoping it was a case of reloading software.
Anyway, thanks for your input and advice

In this case, it will very likely need a dealer visit to re-enable the menu unfortunately. They charge in the UK about £60 for a diagnostic - which should be ample time to do the configuration for you.
